blogroll is not showing.

when I included the Links it is showing the bloghits not the blogrolls
-
I had a look at the blog linked to your username and I see both; the blogroll is listed beneath Recent Comments, and your blog stats beneath Spam Blocked. Do you see it now? You need each link in your blogroll to have a category in order for it to show up, so that might have been the problem.

I cannot get my blogroll to show. I have activated the google that they requrired. Please help

@goforthparker
I’m assuming this is your blog http://goforthparker.wordpress.com/ and I wondering if you clicked the link I provided in the post right above yours. If you did then you will find that you enter links into your Blogroll in your admin section; every link you enter must be assigned to a category (even if it’s only “Blogroll”) in order to display; and that no links will display until you place your Links widget in your sidebar.
I do not know what you mean by this: “I have activated the google that they requrired.”
Please clarify. -
Thank you. I figured that one out. Now, I cannot get my slide show to show up. Any thoughts on that one? thank you again.

@goforthparker – The information in the link below might help. There are further links on that page to other specific slideshow formats:

Thank you ellaella. I finally got it going. Need to edit it now, but it did work. I think that on my laptop at home, it just did not show that it was working. Please look at the slide show and let me know what you think. Thanks for the early morning reply.

You’re very welcome and I’m glad everything’s okay now. I like the slide show; I also think you’re making good use of the Fjords theme and its 4 columns.
Happy blogging.

I have read all the documentation and FAQs and I am very confused and frustrated about how add the links widget to get my blogroll to show up. I am also having a lot of difficulty changing the category of the links in my blogroll.
Someone please help.

In that theme (Toni) the blogroll widgets is called Links but when it appears in your sidebar it will say Blogroll. Simply go into Presentation > Widgets and drag the widget to the sidebar.
That will cause the default sidebar to disappear and you’ll have to rebuild it with widgets. Only takes a moment.
For the default links category go to Options > Writing > Default Link Category. It’s a drop-down box.
Hope this helps.

hei there. is there a way to select some of the categories on the blogroll to show on the sidebar and the rest imported to a separate link page? (to avoid manually linking all the links on a new link page)
-
Thanks for your help. I dragged and dropped the links widget to the sidebar and it worked. Now my blogroll is showing!
Thanks again

@ poeticlibrarian [nice name!]: Awesome. :)
@ buraot: No, I believe there isn’t, sorry. You could copy it from the sidebar though and insert it on the page with the rich text editor. That wayyou keep the formatting and don’t have to relink.

Please help – I’ve been trying for months to get my Blogroll to show. Yes, each URL has a “category” assigned and all links are marked “visible.” I read the FAQ and the forums…still no luck. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance!
-
Please give us a link to your blog, starting with http. Then we can check it out and see what the problem is.
-
diablogue, the widget to display the blogroll is called “Links”, unfortunately. Replace the text widget on your sidebar with the “Links” widget.

raincoaster, here’s the link: http://diablogue.wordpress.com – THANK YOU
