Blogroll (Links) Missing from my Sidebar

  The links are missing from my sidebar, as well as other widget items. Is anybody else having this issue? Please advise. Thank you.

  I have the same issue. I went to Manage links and added a link. Now it says “blogroll” in my side bar not “links”. I teach ESL and would much rather have the term “links” instead of “Blogroll” there but am unable to change this. When I removed the wordpress links, I get a weird looking text in my widgets. Before, I could change the title of blogroll to links and it worked. Something has changed from the last time I put together a blog in WordPress.

  Are you using a different theme? That might be the issue.

  It says blogroll, because the links you added have the “blogroll” category assigned to them. Edit each link, and create a category called “links” and change the categories assigned to your links, then the blogroll widget title will change to “links.”

  Thanks! That worked. I just unchecked where it said “blogroll” and checked “links” after creating the category.
