Blogroll Order

i have repeatedly ordered my blogroll so that the links show up by link id; i hit “update” and then view my blog – at which point all the links are re-ordered via alpha-sort.

how can i force the system to order via link id?

    Greets:

Normally, I would say that we can’t do it here since we can’t modify the themes here but I’m looking at that you don’t have a blog linked to your username and there’s not a blog with your username here either. Usually that means your blog is hosted elsewhere and you’re running different software than we are here. if that is so, you need to be over at http://wordpress.org/support

But to answer your question, it depends on what function call within your theme is using to display the links. When you figure it out, take a look at these codex pages.

    Hope this helps,

I think what you may have to do is not use the blogroll but rather use sidebar widgets with your theme and manually code the links in as you would like it. Here’s a little help with that, come back to see if it works out.

From your dashboard, go to themes>Presentation, sidebar widgets.
You want to drag a text widget to the sidebar and Edit it. This is what you will put in

    <li><a href="http://URL/">SITE NAME</a></li>

Hope this helps. This should work but I have not tested it as I am against blogrolling. Another alternative is creating a page on your blog for links, and you can use the WYSIWYG editor instead, but I guess you want it on the main blog.
