  How do change the order of the links in my blogroll by date?

  You cannot change the order of links at wordpress.com.

  You would have to manually create your own links widget using a text widget.

  Just in case I didn’t specify what I said clearly enough…..

  I want to be able to move my links in the order I want them to be in.

  I’m writing a tutorial, and they need to be in a certain order.

  Have you read all the support documentation entries. There are even screencasts.

  You cannot change the order of links at wordpress.com. However, the Link Categories screen can be configured in different ways using screen options.
