  I just had 1 more question. What types of links are allowed on a blogroll? Like, are any okay as long as they are good sites like Wikipedia and Youtube, or can you only add wordpress blogs to your blogroll?

  You can choose to add links to any sites you wish to in your dashboard Links section where you create a Blogroll and then display it in a Links widget in your sidebar.

  Links widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/links-widget/

  On my blog I choose to link to directly related sites that I believe will enhance my readers’ experience of learning how to become a better blogger, how to build a better blog, and how to effectively promote their blog.
