blogs as wordpress subdomains are over?

  Hello

  I just registered for wordpress.com with intention to create my blog as mynamehere.wordpress.com,

  however I cant find how to – I am only offered paid domain names or .home.blog domain.

  I checked some recent tutorials and making mynamehere.wordpress.com seems possible, but where to find that feature?

  Definitely not over! Just leave all the boxes unchecked in Step 1 of the site creation steps. https://wordpress.com/start.

  If you’re not on Step 1, use the Back link to return there and uncheck the boxes.

  If you tick only the first box, you’ll be offered a free .blog subdomain. https://en.blog.wordpress.com/2018/11/28/announcing-free-dotblog-subdomains/
