Blogs deactivated
-
I had my students create blogs using WordPress on Friday. This is nothing new, I do this every semester. Now, their blogs are gone – “taken down.” There is no inappropriate content on any of them; they have simply been removed for no apparent reason. Can they please be reactivated? I can give you the urls. I do not have time in my curriculum to spend another period having them set them up using a different host. I’ve read the terms of service, and none of these blogs violate the terms. Another teacher in my building who uses WordPress had the exact same thing happen. We are very frustrated. We love WordPress and would like to continue using it as a blogging tool in our 21st Century Literacy Skills classrooms.
Thank you for your time,
Brandy Detwiler

Greetings,
Mistakes can be made but as a policy, we are asked to refrain from discussing Terms of Service issues on these public forums where threads are indexed by Google and are available to anyone on the internet.
We volunteers answering support questions here can’t help you. You have a warning notice with a link — please click that link as it works at all times (even when the regular contact form is closed). There’s also a contact form you can use to reach them at the bottom of this page http://en.support.wordpress.com/suspended-blogs/
If you have already contacted Staff, the Terms of Service department certainly received your request. Please be patient as they’ll be getting back to you as soon as they can.
