Blog's gone!

  Hi,

  A short while ago we got a new website, and a blog link was not set to it (our previous website, with the same url, did). Now when I log into WordPress with (I believe) the same username/password, I only see a one-off experimental blog we did several years ago (bondi44.wordpress.com). The website is http://www.lingopal.com and the blog that I want should be lingopal.wordpress.com.

  What I ultimately want to do is retrieve those old Lingopal blog posts and link them up to the new website. Any help gratefully received.

  Hi Richard. If you already own bondi44.wordpress.com, just make sure you’re logged in, go to the “My Blogs” page on your dashboard and hover the mouse over that blog. The option to change the blog address will then appear: http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  However, I see there’s already a blog with the address lingopal.wordpress.com, so you won’t be able to change to that one. You could try contacting the owner via a comment or contact page and ask if they would be willing to transfer the blog to you, but WordPress staff will not do that for you. Otherwise, you will need to choose a new address.
