BLOGS HAVE VANISHED FROM HOME PAGE . APPEARANCE CHANGED

    Dear WordPress,

    I dont see my blogs appearing in continuity on Home page. All the blogs have vanished from Home page. How do I get it back . I am on Adventure theme .

    would appreciate if wordpress administration gets into a chat service with me today to sort this out. This is urgent

    Assuming you do not than this forum is the right area.
    When I accessed your site, I was able to pull-up posts using
    http://headstride.co.uk/rss
    So they have not been deleted.

    One possible solution is:
    1. Can you confirm that the front-page is not marked as “static”? If it is marked static if you were to unclick the box does that resolve the problem?

    I have premium account and had used chat service till the day before yesterday . The chat window used to appear automatically but somehow in the last 2 days it stopped

    The posts are not permanently gone. Under various categories it appears but all the 26 blogs used to appear one after the other as per date it was published on in the home page . Now that has vanished.

    For home page i.e. front page – it is at present clicked as Static page. This was what was advised to me by wordpress over chat. This way I can have a static text and man’s image on the right as it appears now and below it all the latest posts will appear. And this used to be perfect. I had the luxury of this home page text and right side blue man’s image and below it all the blogs used to appear. But somehow all the blogs vanished.

    Will really appreciate help is I can restore it

    If not then I used Google to bring a up a copy of your cached site as it look on Oct 21st, 2014.

    If is what you are looking for, could you try to take of the Static Page and see what happens? You could always change it back.

    yes the posts are listed at the bottom as hyperlinks but it used to be listed on the home page along with main photo (of each blog) and a small caption ending with Read More.

    The home page was long and one could keep scrolling and all the blogs used to appear along with the image but now it is only listed in the bottom black bar

    Generally speaking, if you’ve set your home page to a Static Front page, your blog posts will no longer appear on the Home page. That’s why it is called a Static Front page.

    But Adventure is a Premium theme. You could also try posting this in the special Premium theme forum for Adventure. It may be a little slow right now because of the US holidays. Click the Support button here: https://wordpress.com/themes/adventure/

    Yes I understand the discernment in Static front page and dynamic page. But in this Adventure theme, it allowed me the possibility of putting that static text block along with the FOLLOW ME icons ( that connects to social media ) and an image on the right side ( as the blue man’s head appears on my site now ) and then sequentially all the blogs used to be listed.

    I had this for the whole of last month inspite of static page clicked . There is a way to do this but somehow all of a sudden the blogs vanished from home page without I triggering anything.

    It appears there was an Adventure Theme update in the past couple days that may have reset pages with that theme.

    @pcosta88-Thanks! And therefore my referral to the Premium theme forum. :)

    @headstride-FWIW if you are the user that purchased the theme, you should see a link to the special support forum for your theme directly in your site’s Dashboard. Of course you can now just bookmark http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/adventure
