How do I get Blogs I Follow to show up standalone on a new page?

Widgets can only be used in the widget areas, sidebar and/or bottom of your theme. They can’t be used in pages or posts.

So, how the heck do some bloggers have a whole page devoted to their blogs they follow? Do they type them all in one at a time? Sorry if this is a dumb question…..it is a sincere one?

Some themes here have a special Page template called “Links” although those are taken from the “blogroll” and not the “Blogs I Follow”.
Otherwise, what you could do is have two browser windows open and simply copy and paste the info from the widget to a page, maybe even drag from one to the other. You’ll most likely have to edit the text. (I need to test this to be 100% sure)

The days of the mile-long bloroll are far behind us as Google and other search engines don’t value such reciprocal links very highly at all. I choose to display the links to directly related blogs I recommend to my followers on a static page which I created a list on manually. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2010/11/18/blogroll-or-links-page/
