Blogs I follow do not always show up in my reader

    Lately I’ve noticed a drop in the number of visitors to my blog without an apparent reason.
    I’ve also noticed that blogs that I follow suddenly do not always show up in my reader anymore. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t. Sometimes it helps to unfollow and then follow a blog again, but that doesn’t fix the problem permanently either.
    If my blog isn’t showing up in the reader of some of my followers, that would be a good reason for the dropped number of visits.

    I’m beginning to think it’s some kind of bug in the wordpress.com site since so many blogs have this problem. Is this a known issue?
