Blogs I follow email address

  I have changed my email address every possible place it seems but in the Blogs I follow page I am still told that my email address is rich@tsop etc…. I cannot seem to change this. Any ideas please?

  Hi there,

  Are you talking about in the WordPress.com Reader? If so, you can change the email address by hovering over your gravatar icon in the upper right hand corner of the screen and a menu will appear. Select “Settings” and you will be allowed to change your email address there.

  Let me know if that’s what you meant or if you were talking about somewhere else! :)

  Hi

  Thanks for the reply. That is where I went and that email address is showing correctly. So I thought all was ok! Until I got a follow up comment on a blog I follow and it went to the wrong address! I checked again and have gone through what seems to be every possible setting and cannot find the email address (rich at tsop dot org dot uk).

  Funny enough your reply notification did go to my gmail address!

  Hi there,

  I dug around a bit more, and the only instance where I was able to find a reference to (email visible only to moderators and staff) in our system was in gravatar.com, where it is still set up as an alias email address.

  You may want to go log in there and remove it. That might have the effect that you’re looking for! Sorry that this is causing such problems for you!

  Thanks for all the help. I have deleted the address and we’ll see what happens. It’s not a major problem though.
