blogs I've never seen in my life won't 'unfollow'

I’m finding blogs on my “blogs I follow” that I’ve never seen or read. I have clicked to ‘unfollow’ and got a error message that said ‘an error occurred’ and the website won’t let me delete or unfollow.
In addition, I’m seeing a sidebar full of websites that OTHER people follow and that I may like? NO. How in the heck did this happen, and I want it stopped. I make the decision about what blogs I follow, I don’t follow your suggestions.
Please tell me how to delete the ones I am not interested in seeing or following.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Will you please provide the URLs of the blogs you did not follow so Staff can delete them? I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

As timethief mentioned, I can remove those blogs for you. Just let me know the URLs of the blogs you’d like to remove and I’ll take care of that.
Once we know which blogs appeared there without you adding them, I can also investigate further to find out why this happened. Thanks!

Hello, rachelmcr, and timethief (oh, no truer words were ever spoken regarding my use of the net!)
Since I wrote you, the blogs that I never have followed seem to have disappeared. I’ve written timethief about issues I have with the way wordpress appears on my computer, for instance, I don’t get icons, I get little boxes with codes such as F1, F3, etc.
I see that there is no way to attach a screenshot of the problem I’m still experiencing, though, and it won’t allow me to copy or paste.
This is the bar on the right side that says “blogs you may like’. These, apparently, are coming from people who follow my blog and I suppose wordpress thinks I’m interested in them. It sorta looks like facebook, which I am NOT on, but have seen a similar sort of thing. I don’t want this, and would like to know how to shut it off. When I click on one to delete it, another takes it place. This could go on forever (and is one of the reasons I am not on facebook).
If you would please tell me how to shut the blogs you may like feature off, or block it completely, I would be very happy.

I’d be happy to look at these issues for you. You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy. We also have tips for making screenshots here: Making a screenshot
Also, can you confirm which browser (including the browser version) you have this problem with? You can download other browsers to try them out here: http://browsehappy.com/

There isn’t a setting to turn off that feature, but you’re welcome to ignore it if you don’t want to add those suggested blogs. Those blogs won’t ever be added to your Blogs I Follow list unless you choose to follow them.
