My two blogs merged, can I unmerge?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
My first WP blog SillyFrenchie.wordpress.com is not under my new WP cendrinet.com and I don’t know how to get them separated again.
-
The site SillyFrenchie.wordpress.com is not owned by this WordPress.com user account, cendrinett.
If you control the account that owns SillyFrenchie.wordpress.com, but have lost access, let me know and I will review your Account Recovery options.

Hi pmciano,
I own these two blogs but when I go to cendrinet.com it is redirected to my sillyfrenchie and I don’t want it to do that.
Thanks for your help. -
The domain cendrinet.com is not registered with WordPress.com and it is not pointing towards a site hosted at WordPress.com:
http://who.is/whois/cendrinet.com
If you have an issue regarding where this domain directs traffic, please contact the domain’s registrar, Go Daddy:
If you have any questions regarding WordPress.com, please let us know.

Is there a way for me to talk to someone besides this thread?
I need answers and I’m not getting them.
Thanks
:) -
WordPress.com offers the following support options:
I’ve addressed your initial issue. Do you have any questions regarding cendrinett.wordpress.com?
If so, let me know, and I will be happy to help.
-
Yes!!
That the account that’s my problem, sorry, I guess I should have been more clear (to me cendrinett and cendrinet are the same).
I don’t want cendrinett.wordpress.com to be sillyfrenchie.wordpress.com, I want them to be separate spaces.
Please rescue me from my wordpress anxieties!
BTW, I’ve signed up for the wordpress workshop coming to my city so I can better understand wth I’m doing.
Thanks for your patience <3PS
If I have questions about posts, do you address those? -
I don’t want cendrinett.wordpress.com to be sillyfrenchie.wordpress.com, I want them to be separate spaces.
The sites cendrinett.wordpress.com and sillyfrenchie.wordpress.com are two, separate sites, that are owned by different WordPress.com users, so they are separate spaces, as previously stated:
If I’ve misunderstood the issue, or if you have any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks for your help, I think I’m starting to understand what’s going on.
I own both those wordpress sites. I want my cendrinett.wordpress.com to be under cendrinet.com so, correct me if I’m wrong, I need to change the dns at GoDaddy (where my domain is registered). -
If you want to point your cendrinet.com domain at Go Daddy to the content hosted at your WordPress.com site, cendrinett.wordpress.com, you can do that with a Domain Mapping Upgrade.
Here are the instructions:
Let us know if you have any more questions.
-
Ok, I’m not totally going crazy here!! I did the Domain Mapping Upgrade but when I did, it went wrong somewhere because cendrinet.com points to sillyfrenchie.wordpress.com :(
I was so annoyed that I canceled my $17 upgrade.
If you go to cendrine.com you will see the sillyfrenchie content.
Does that mean I entered the incorrect DNS info on GoDaddy?
Please keep helping me sorting this out, I’m so grateful for your help! -
It seems like you had correctly added the Domain Mapping Upgrade to your WordPress.com site, cendrinett.wordpress.com. If you update cendrinet.com’s name servers at Go Daddy, and wait while the DNS updates (could take up to 48 hours), you should be fine.
If you want to try again, you can do so here:

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your help, I will give it a try on Tuesday and hopefully will resolve this issue with my sillyfrenchie blog.
Stay tuned!

Hi,
I’ve changed my DNS at GoDaddy but I still see the SillyFrenchie content under Cendrinet.com and not the cendrinett content… -
Your site looks good to me:
Keep in mind, it could take up to 48 hours for the changes to fully propagate.
Also, please clear your browser’s cache:
Let us know if you have any more questions.

Hi,
I saw you cloudup link and got so excited, I cleared my cache from beginning of time and opened a new window, typed in cendrinet.com and got this:
I just wanted to cry!!!
There has to be something I’m not doing correctly… -
-
I’m staying calm and serene!
The link is my last two phrases, damn it!Alright, if you see it correctly and I don’t what is it that I missed?
Again, thank you so much for your help and your patience with me, I would gladly bring you cookies if I was wherever you are!
-
It’s still working:
You could try clearing the cache again or using a different browser (e.g., Safari, Firefox), but I think you just need to hang tight while DNS updates. As I previously said, this may take a while.
Thank you for your patience and let us know if there is anything else you need assistance with.
