    I have lost all blog posts on both my blogs DiAnne’s Scribbles and Thought You Might Like This starting about November 2020.

    I’m not having trouble seeing older blog posts when I view your site. I suspect something on your computer is preventing the older posts from loading as you scroll down.

    What browser are you using? Does it happen if you try a different browser? Are you using any browser extensions? Can you try disabling them and seeing if that changes things?

    Using Safari and Chrome nets same result:

    Hi there,

    I noticed that your two sites behave a bit differently with regard to how they display older blog posts.

    • dianneebejer.wordpress.com – when I scroll to the bottom of your homepage, more and more posts load, so I can scroll seemingly forever
    • diannesthingsat.wordpress.com – when I scroll to the bottom of your homepage, just past the “MERRY CHEX MIX!” post, I see a button load older posts. I don’t see any more posts until I click the button

    With that in mind I was hoping I could get a bit more clarity about what happens when you try to view older posts on your two sites.

    On diannesthingsat.wordpress.com are you able to get any blog posts to load when you click the “Older Posts” button? Or does nothing happen when you click that?

    On dianneebejer.wordpress.com (where old posts load automatically when you scroll) how far are you able to scroll before posts stop loading? What is the title of the oldest post you see before they stop loading?

    Also to give us a bit more info about your computer can you visit this page and let us know what you see for “Operating System” and “Web Browser”?

    This will give us some extra troubleshooting info about your computer. As others here have mentioned I can see your older posts (so I can confirm they are definitely there) and it sounds like there is an issue with your computer displaying them for some reason. But I think this is only affecting you, and if anyone else visits your site they can see the posts just fine.

    Out of curiosity, if you use a different computer (or phone, or tablet) do you see older posts on your site? i.e. on your Mac you definitely can’t see them, but on you iPhone they do in fact show up?

    I have given most of this info to someone else trying to help me. As far as scrolling and buttons the two blogs are very different in age, dianneebejer.wordpress.com being the older so maybe they behave differently with regard to displaying older blogs….but its newer blogs ( 2021 ) that have gone missing from both blogs. And they behave the same on my Mac, my Samsung phone and my husband I phone. I think I’m going to call Geek Squad. I have a service contract on all my devices. This is over my head but thanks for your help!
