  Hello, it’s not as much of a problem as a request. I was wondering whether it is possible to use name of a blog that already exists. The obvious answer is no but I’ve checked that blog and person who created it only posted 3 updates back in 2006 and it hasn’t been updated or used since. I would really like to have this blogs address hency why I’m sending this message to you, hoping to get a positive reply :) I will try to contact the owner of mentioned blog but I doubt I will receive any reply.

  No I’m sorry you cannot claim a blog that beloengs to someone else and there is not rule that a blog must be used. See here for more detail > Unused Blogs

  Bloggers who are commited to blogging over the long term don’t blog on sub-domains. The purchase a domain name via a domain mapping upgrade and you can do that too. See > http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/
