Thank you, banghao, I’ve submitted a report, but seeing as the site I’ve mentioned boats over twelve million visits I have doubts as to whether you are brave enough to confront the gentleman who is responsible for the content.
I’m more than happy to copy a few examples of his comments here, but am wary of offending homosexuals, Asians, Arabs, Hindus, bi-sexuals and African Americans.
Many of whom, I’m sure, are your paying customers.

I’m not doing this out of any personal vendetta, indeed, I have not been in contact with your client other than by email. However, I cannot allow his behaviour and apparent immunity from any administrative control to continue -

I am trying to alert you to a site that uses obscene language and racial insults – something that Facebook wouldn’t allow – but you do.
I will keep posting his comments here until somebody in your corporation realises the significance and danger of leaving this site open.
The following comment might goad you into some kind of response.It’s from from his comments policy.
“I make an effort not to put any adult stuff on here, otherwise it gets flagged as an adult blog. Anyway, I want the site accessible to minors.”

That’s how long you’ve been allowing this individual to use WordPress to disseminate his personal views.
I intend to keep posting … it looks like I’m the only one who takes it seriously.

@peterbowes – banhgao has given you the correct answer and provided you with the links concerning WordPressdotcom’s policies. Please read them if you have not.
As you say you have already reported the site (although it may not be directly violating any of the above said policies), the Terms of Service team will review it. However, as it says on the Freedom of Speech Support doc,
…while we are strict about shutting down blogs that violate our terms of service (no spam, personal threats, incitement of violence, etc), we will not shut down blogs because they are offensive.
We think the right response to bad or offensive ideas is to speak out against them, not to censor them.
i. e. use your own WordPressdotcom site as a platform to fight such opinions.

The Racial Discrimination Act 1975 forbids hate speech on several grounds. The Act makes it “unlawful for a person to do an act, otherwise than in private, if the act is reasonably likely, in all the circumstances, to offend, insult, humiliate or intimidate another person or a group of people; and the act is done because of the race, colour or national or ethnic origin of the other person, or of some or all of the people in the group.”[1] An aggrieved person can lodge a complaint with the Australian Human Rights Commission. If the complaint is validated, the Commission will attempt to conciliate the matter. If the Commission cannot negotiate an agreement which is acceptable to the complainant, the complainant’s only redress is through the Federal Court or through the Federal Magistrates Service.
In 2002, the Federal Court applied the Act in the case of Jones v. Toben. The case involved a complaint about a website which contained material that denied the Holocaust. The Federal Court ruled that the material was a violation of the Act.[2]
Section 85ZE of the Crimes Act 1914 makes it an offence to use the Internet to disseminate material intentionally that results in a person being menaced or harassed. This offence includes material communicated by email. Federal criminal law, therefore, is available to address racial vilification where the element of threat or harassment is also present, although it does not apply to material that is merely offensive.[3]

Hate crime laws in the United States protect against hate crimes (also known as bias crimes) motivated by enmity or animus against a protected class. Although state laws vary, current statutes permit federal prosecution of hate crimes committed on the basis of a person’s protected characteristics of race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability. The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ)/FBI, as well as campus security authorities, are required to collect and publish hate crime statistics.

I’m appreciative of that justjennifer, if only it prompts the management of WordPress to recognise the dangers they face if accused of providing the means (carriage) of knowingly providing a platform for the dissemination of views that are contrary to the law.
