    Do I need my current provider Bluehost (my current provider)? What is the purpose of a provider, such as Bluehost? I want to have a personal WordPress blog without an exorbitant expense. It is not for commercial purposes, and is meant to be informative. I’m not computer savvy, but have a little more experience than being a complete novice. Having said that, I would rate myself as a beginner in regard to blogging and web hosting. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

    This is the host WordPress.com not the host BlueHost. It is up to you to choose where you want to build your site. Here at WordPress.com however there is the option of free sites if you are happy with a subdomain address that ends in .wordpress.com. No exorbitant expense and that suits me just fine.
