Blogstats has been frozen for weeks
-
My blogstats has been frozen on the same number for about 3 weeks now…what is going on?
-
Do you have a wordpress.com hosted blog, or are you hosted elsewhere? The possibilities depend on the answer. Also, have you contacted staff about it?
-
-
If it’s hosted elsewhere, you’re in the wrong forum. You need to be over at WordPress.org, as this is the support forum for WordPress.com hosted blogs only and our software is very different.

i am on Worpress hosted blog and I have the same problem. The graph is not getting updated whereas all the text information are ok. I think the problem is when it reaches the end horizontally, it just stops there. Any help?

Volunteers answering forum questions do not have backend access to blogs and cannot apply technical fixes of any kind. Please use the “support” button located on the top right hand corner of any admin side blog page to report this to staff. Support is open Monday to Friday 8 AM – 4 PM, Pacific time. Please do not post personal information to the forum but do note that staff require the following information when you send in your support ticket:
– your browser
– your browser version
– your FULL blog address (not the name, the real address that begins http:// )
– your FULL username
– your REAL email address that is registered here
– and a very good description of the exact problem. -

If you are hosted here at wordpress.com, have you tried logging out, clearing your browser cache and cookies and then logging back in and viewing your stats again? If they still do not update, then you will need to contact staff since the volunteers here in the forum do not have back end access.Include your username, your complete blog URL beginning with http://, your email address used to set up your blog account, and a description of the problem.
http://wordpress.com/contact-support/ (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm Pacific time) or using the “support” button in the upper right of your dashboard.

You should also be able to get quick daily totals via either:
http://m.wordpress.com
or is it?
https://s-ssl.wordpress.com
One or the other…I can’t remember, and since we can’t edit, I thought I’d put both in. -

I haven’t seen frozen stats, but I sure have been seeing obviously inaccurate stats. I think I’ve been told the blogstats will (?)never be accurate (is that right? espec w/ low hit counts?) but I see several instances of late where statcounter indicates, e.g., 15 page loads… and blogstats will indicate 3.
I’ve only been noticing this in the past few weeks.
AND when I just tried raincoaster link to that gadget, the count from m.wordpress.com does not equal the count on my blogstats page.wha’s up!??? )every hit counts(

Volunteers answering forum questions can do nothing to help when it’s an issue like stats. You will have to use the “support” button on the dashboard side of any blog page during support hours and tell staff about it. Support hours are weekdays 8-4 PM, Pacific time.
-
sorry tt.. I saw you say that before. I didn’t “get it”! I will try to get through during support hours.
thx -

The difference between 15 pageloads and 5 isn’t that much; it’s well within the differences between the two. But no matter how high you go in numbers, sitemeter and WP.com stats will never agree, because they’re measuring different things. What’s critical is that the trends be identical in both: if one says your hits are growing and the other doesn’t, that’s a sign that one of them is wrong.

I will advise to do what sacredpath says. If you use another browser (you have IE6 ?) then it will show that your browser is at fault here.
