Blog/URL renaming gone wrong…
-
Hello,
Basically I set up http://www.wanderingloulou.wordpress.com as a writing blog, further down the line I set up http://www.hungryweasel.wordpress.com as a food blog, without giving much thought to its name – which I now hate.
I tried to change hungry weasel to wanderingloulou, however obviously this was already taken with my writing blog. So I thought if I renamed wanderingloulou to wanderingloulou2 this might free up the URL….I was wrong. Now I can’t assign the URL wanderingloulou.wordpress.com to either blog :/
Any ideas what I can do?
Help much appreciated!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there,
wanderingloulou.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site. You cannot recover or register any deleted blog URL. Deleted blog URLs are not recycled, regardless of who registered and deleted them and no exceptions are made.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/To prevent accidental or inadvertent deletion of blogs, there are multiple warnings given that blog deletion is permanent and irreversible. Lastly, a verification link is sent in an email and must be clicked to delete a blog. If clicking that link does not work then copy and paste it into your upper browser window and click. Once clicked the blog URL is forever gone, gone, gone.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/You can register another .wordpress.com blog http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Then if you wish to you can register a domain via a domain mapping upgrade because it does not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is when you are domain mapping.
