blog.wordpress.com

Hi, I’ve got a blog up on running through bluehost (mommability.blog) and I’m using the WordPress plugin there. When I go to wordpress.com and try to log in on this end, I am editing a different website (mommabilityblog.wordpress.com).
I’m confused, where did this second one come from?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi lldameron
Your site(mommability.blog) is using WordPress.org software which is hosted on blue host.
So what happened here is your site mommability.blog is with Bluehost with wordpress.org platform and in that you can log in from there and when you tried to log in from WordPress.com you just created a new account with a blog mommabilityblog.wordpress.com.
WordPress.com and WordPress.org are both different platforms, you can find more information for this here:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/WordPress.com forum helps the sites hosted on WordPress.com only
For more information here is the support documentation link below:

Hi there,
As mentioned above, your site is using the WordPress software found on WordPress.org. Your login details for that site are stored in the site’s database on your server, and has nothing at all to do with your WordPress.com account, which is something completely different.
I see you do have the Jetpack plugin installed on that site, though. That plugin allows you to manage your Bluehost site via your WordPress.com account. To get to your Bluehost site, click on My Sites and then Switch Site. You should see your Bluehost site listed there.
You can also enable Jetpack’s single-sign-on feature under Settings ->Security. That will allow you to log into your Bluehost site’s dashboard using your WordPress.com account instead of the username and password you set for the site itself.
when you tried to log in from WordPress.com you just created a new account with a blog mommabilityblog.wordpress.com.
Please don’t make assumptions like this. The username account the OP is using to post here is almost 5 years old:
