Blue chat box

I have only just set up my blog and am currently working on it, but a blue chat box keeps on popping up (it says ‘Howdy! How can we help) everywhere in the Dashboard, and when i try to write a new post, the box pops up, and then i cannot enter any text into the new post as my cursor won’t click in it. How do i get rid of the blue box please, it’s annoying as it seems to be making my new post freeze. Thanks.

I can’t get the screenshot to work so i have uploaded a photo image of it. It’s in my media files titled ‘Blue box’. The box is in the bottom right of the screen and appears every time i log in.

I see you’re using a rather small screen resolution, which could be part of the problem.
Do you notice any improvement in how much screen the box takes up if you zoom out of the page.
The settings for this are either under your browser’s View or Window menu.
Overall, the box will disappear 14 days after you create your account, or when there are no available chat operators.

How is my screen size ‘part of the problem’ if the box is from WP. You say the box will disappear after 14 days, and as it has taken almost 9 days to be told that i guess i haven’t got much longer to put up with it. Thank you.

I’m not saying that your screen size is necessarily your problem, but that box is a certain size, and your screen only displays a certain amount of real estate, so that box may be taking out most of it.
Do you see any improvement if you zoom out? That will help us with improving things.

Sorry, i can’t answer that as the box is not there at the moment, it comes when i first log in and then after i do a few circuits around my blog it goes away, until i next log in again.

Ok, it won’t appear all the time as there are only two of us offering chat support right now. So, if we’re swamped, it won’t be visible.
Please give it a shot the next time you see it and let us know how it goes.

I will do, it’s after midnight here now so when i return tomorrow if the box is there (as you say it’s not always visible) i will try what you say, and i’ll let you know what happens. Thanks
