  What is your custom domain, and how long has it been registered with Bluehost? To note, newly-registered domains cannot be transferred until they are at least 60 days old. If your domain is less than 60 days old, you can connect it instead.
  
  To transfer your domain from Bluehost to WordPress.com:

  1. Log in to your Bluehost account and navigate to the “Domains” section.
  2. Locate the domain you want to transfer to WordPress.com and click on the gear icon.
  3. Click “Transfer Domain” and follow the on-screen instructions to obtain an authorization code.
  4. Log in to your WordPress.com account and navigate to the “Domains” section.
  5. Click “Add a Domain” and enter the domain you want to transfer.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the domain transfer process, including entering the authorization code you obtained from Bluehost.
  7. Wait for the transfer to complete, which can take several days.
  8. Once the transfer is complete, configure your DNS settings on WordPress.com to ensure that your domain points to your WordPress.com site.
