Blue Host server down
-
I used wordpress.org to move my blog to Bluehost. Yesterday, just when I put a redirection post in my WordPress.com blog to my new site, the Blue Host server went down. Their technical support said that there was a “cyber” attack on posts with Obama related tags. The first time I called, the technician said my site would be back up within an hour. Two hours later, no site, and I called. The person said just another hour or so. A few hours later, no site. Before I went to bed, I called again. The technician said they are still moving sites to new IPs, and it should be very soon, and definitely by the morning. This morning, no site. I called again. The technician put my domain on a list, and she said it will definitely work in about twenty minutes. Two hours later, no site. Am I getting the run-around? Is this normal? Should I get a different host? I am frustrated, and worried I have lost any loyal readers I gained in my first month of blogging.

This isn’t a WP.com question: afraid you need to ask over at WordPress.org, where they support self-hosted blogs.
