Blue squares with question marks in my latest posts, website and media library

    Since 1st of September….
    I have been struggling for nearly three weeks with putting new photos into my media library and two latest posts and having them replaced with grey square with question mark.They are my latest 41 photos
    I have checked with my website hosting company and they have increased image size to 32Mb, all permissions are correct and they don’t see any errors from their side.
    I use an iMac and have checked site on iPad and no images show for the latest post(s). Have used a windows machine, same problem

    I have disabled all plug ins, checked media library and still not resolved.
    I have replaced original theme, with another and still same issue.
    Tried small photos <0.5M – same problem
    I am not technical, but I must be doing something stupid.
    Any help to get this resolved, will be greatly appreciated

    Hello Pierre,

    That does sound really frustrating! And I’m sure you’re not doing anything stupid, it actually sounds like you’ve done a fair amount of troubleshooting, exactly the types of things we would suggest.

    Unfortunately, you’ve asked this question in the WordPress.com forums which is for support for sites running on the WordPress.com platform.

    Your site, http://pierrotphoto.co.uk, is a self-hosted WordPress (.org) site on UK2.net. I would try contacting them again and see if they have a WordPress specialist to help out. Their support site says to log in to your account to get the quickest service, but it also looks like they have a knowledgebase and chat support: https://www.uk2.net/support/

    If your web host cannot help you with WordPress, you can also try the WordPress.org forums to get help with your issue: https://wordpress.org/support/
