Bluehost Domain

  I’m trying to find out if WordPress could/will host my blog with the new domain, with the domain being through Bluehost?
  Also, if WordPress allows that, does anyone know if they would let me upgrade my WordPress account as well?

  Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

  yes you can have a domain name registered with Blue Host and have it mapped to your blog here.

  Since you would still be hosted here, you can upgrade your blog, but you are still required to observe the Terms of Service here (you can’t sell your own ads, do e-commerce etc.)
