Bluehost Linking

    Please i have a website with wordpress.com domain. So I purchased bluehost today so that I can manage everything from bluehost. I was told I need the database file. How do I get it?

    Hi there,

    We don’t offer an option for a full-site or a database backup on WordPress.com. Only the content, i.e. posts, pages and media files, from a WordPress.com site can be exported to another site.

    You can get an export file at My Site ->Tools ->Export.

    You’ll then import that by logging into WP-Admin after you install WordPress at Bluehost, and go to Tools ->Import.
