Bluehost/Ulysses

I need some help pretty please. I’m currently in love with Ulysses on my iPad to do all of my blogging. I created a new WordPress.com account to attach my domain to. I’m currently with Bluehost, and it just doesn’t work well with Ulysses as far as posting from the app. Would love to move to a different host, and need to figure out how to accomplish this, and keep the cost low. WP Engine is $300/yr (basic plan), which is WAY out of my price range. I just want to have a host (preferably WordPress) but is it this expensive to do this, with just a blogging site? I’m ignorant when it comes to attaching a domain I already own, and transferring to something affordable. Please help.

I have already posted 3 blog post to a WordPress account thru Bluehost, and would like the site (WP) to remain, but attach it to new WP account with new host preferably WP if affordable. This is usually easier to speak over the phone, but I’m left to write and wait, while still the potential of not being clear on problem I’m dealing with..

According to their website, Ulysses supports integration with WordPress.com:

That said, we cannot guarantee anything as far as how well the app would work or not, as it is not our product.
