Blurb–slurp blog to book-making tool

  What is the best tool to use to slurp my blog into a book making tool? Previously I’ve used Blurb but I just found out that a change in WordPress made the two incompatible. What can I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m not aware of any change that makes them incompatible. But most platforms nowadays will use an RSS feed to produce the book.

  They are not compatible. Blurb said that WordPress had made a change that makes them so. I’m in the process of converting my blog to blogger. Im so annoyed. And I’m sad to be leaving WordPress.

  If you’re just going to use this to make a book, you shouldn’t need to be at Blogger long. Just do the import, then use the Blogger feed to create the book, and keep blogging at WordPress. Once the book is done, set that blog to Private so you protect your SEO. Next time you want to do a book, do the same thing.

  Every year I make a scrapbook with Blurb. I’d like to just be able to slurp the blog into Blurb and be done. What a pain that I can’t do that with WordPress.

  It’s surprising, too, because Blurb used to be the one I always recommended. I’ve handheld two clients through the process.

  Maybe once WP.com sorts out this http/https thing it’ll settle down.
