Blurring the lines of advertising on WordPress

  Hi All,

  I have not found this specific question (although not to say it has not been posted before), but I am wondering what might be classified as blurring the lines of advertising.
  I have a blog http://tech2bus.wordpress.com/ (aka The Business of Technology) that looks at existing and emerging technologies and gives small, medium and large businesses tips and tricks on how to use these technologies and services to their maximum advantage. Part of the site is doing reviews of different technologies and services around the web.
  My question is, if I am part of an affiliate program with a service and I link through to their site, is this classified as advertising? I don’t want to get myself into trouble by doing the wrong thing. I would to hear if anyone else is / has done this and if it is a problem. thanks all.
