Blurry images

Hello,
My problem is about sharpness. All the images on my blog aren’t sharp. I upload images of 900 x 600 or bigger, but when they get resized (to a smaller size), they appear kind of blurry. I know that if I upload the images at an adequate size for the blog I wouldn’t have any problem. But the reason I upload big images is because I want them to be seen individually, I mean that when you click them they appear on a new page at full size.
So what can I do to keep my images sharp as the full size versions?

They don’t look terribly blurry. Whenever you re-size and re-size an image, it will loose some of its sharpness.

The thing is that I tried with other Themes and some of them work fine resizing the image (smaller size of course) without blurring it. And also with some Online Portfolios.

Are you using any of the preset image sizes (thumbnail, medium, large, etc) or are you using the percentage values to resize it?

That’s definitely the problem. We save the pre-set sizes as actual images, so there’re sharper than the image when adjusted by percentage (when the original image is stretched or compressed on the fly).
