  I’m adding a png file for header image and it is blurry. What is the problem?

  Hi @youarepolite, the most common cause of a blurry image is that the image size is smaller than the space where you’re trying to display it. This causes the image to be enlarged beyond what the original size allows for and therefore it goes blurry. Do you know how to find the image dimensions? If you’d like to provide the URL to the specific image I could have a look at it for you :-)

  I’ve checked mannerspolish.wordpress.com and the header images you have uploaded are a little blurry:

  

  So I recommend uploading a higher quality version of the image if you have one. There is also a list of recommend image sizes for Penscratch 2 in the “Quick specs” section of the theme documentation here:

  You’ll want to make sure the header image isn’t any smaller than 937px × 300px — the existing image is only 288px tall and is therefore being scaled to fit the recommended dimensions.
