Blurry images
-
Images uploaded to my home page appear high quality in the preview, but when refreshing the page become blurry. I have tried different file sizes, types, and resolutions, and nothing seems to work. I want to create a home page with large, colorful blocks with high-res text in them. Can someone help? Thank you

Hi –
Which post or page are you working on? Share that link so we can have a better look at it.
Have you tried using a different browser?

Yes, it’s http://www.maineaqua.org
I am thinking it is not best to use images with text in general, so if you have any idea on how to achieve what I’ve designed using another technique, I’d really appreciate it!
Thank you

Thanks for the site address, your site is actually not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
