blurry images in mobile view

When I upload square images to posts they look blurry on my iPhone, but not on a desktop computer or iPad. Is there something I can do to fix this? I’ve read a bit about changing media settings, changing max-width to 100%, etc. but haven’t had any luck. I resize all images before uploading and adding them to posts at full size. I don’t have issues with any other images so I’m thinking that maybe they’re being stretched to fit the screen. Any help would be much appreciated!

Are you viewing the site over a 3G connection? I’ve faced a similar problem before, and it was because my cellphone provider was compressing all images to reduce the amount of data transferred.

Good thought! I am viewing them when connected to wireless and haven’t checked to see if there’s a difference between 3G or any other network. I wonder if that’s still the issue? It just think it’s odd because my other, larger, images are fine. Thanks for chiming in!
