Blurry Photos

  recently got a mac with retina display. Edit in lightroom. Now since the new computer when I upload my pics into wordpress media they are really blurry and not what they look like in lightroom or my computers photo viewer.

  Hi there,

  Just to clarify, you’re noticing a difference between the uploaded version of an image within your Media Library like this example:

  https://masonjamesphotographyblog.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php?item=1817

  And the appearance of the image on your laptop prior to uploading. Is that correct? Are you scaling the images prior to uploading them or doing any editing within WordPress.com?

  You are correct and it is only since I got the mac with the retina display. Before that it was fine. I am changing the size to 760 X 760 and only editing in Lightroom.

  Hi!

  Just as a test, can you try uploading an image straight into the Media Library without first editing it in Lightroom? I’d like to see if that makes a difference in the image quality.

  I tried that and the image looked fine. Then I did another test and resized it like I normally would to put them in the blog and it was blurry again… Any thoughts? Im resizing to 760 X (keeping it proportionate)

  Hi there,

  Can you make sure you’re exporting the images from Lightroom in an sRGB color profile?
