Blurry videos only when uploaded to wordpress (not an HD issue)

  My videos are just fine when I create them. They are screen instructional videos viewing QuickBooks. They look crystal clear when I create them in Snag It. But when I upload them to video press they get blurry. I create them as MP4 videos. I’ve tried all types of resolutions including the highest one of like 1200×720. That did not help. Tried wide screen. That did not help. And clicked the the HD button, but does not solve the problem either.

  I just paid $99 for this video feature. If this is how it’s going to be then I definitely don’t want to pay for it and keep it. That would not be fair. If someone has a solution to this problem, please help me. I have googled this issue and see that others had the same experience, but I never see it resolved online. Thanks in advance for your support and response to my question/issue.

  As you can see, the file was blurry prior to uploading.

  I’m not familiar with SnagIt, but I found a thread on their support site that might be useful as the person who posted seems to have the same problem. Here’s a response from one of the SnagIt developers halfway down this thread with some useful information for you to get the clearest export:

  Thanks so much for your response. I did some testing and found, like you said that it was blurry before uploaded to wordpress. But when I finish with Snag it, it’s fine. I was trying to merge the video with another intro video in Wondershare and that is where the problem is. It seems that software is more for movie-like videos, not screen recording. Not sure where to go from here, but thx so much for responding. You don’t happen to know any good merging softwares for screen recordings do you?

  Unfortunately, I don’t. I found this page on the SnagIt website that might get you started in finding a solution.
