Boardwalk Theme Featured Image Caption

I am trying to give photo credit in the caption, but the caption doesn’t appear under the featured image. (The featured image appears as the header on individual posts – I want a caption underneath.) How to solve this?

Hi @lonikl, it looks like you are using WordPress but you are not hosted here at WordPress.com. For self-hosted WordPress sites such as yours, I would suggest asking for help in the WordPress.org Boardwalk Theme Support forum.

For general questions on self-hosted WordPress.org installations, visit http://wordpress.org/support/.

The differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.

I did take a quick look at your site, and one suggestion for this would be to incorporate it into the lower right corner of the image itself in an image editing program.

There is a div for the caption in the HTML on single post pages,
    <div class="cc-featured-image-caption"></div>
but it does not populate that div with the caption. If you created a child theme, you could then add some code to make that caption appear on the single post pages. They will be able to help you with that at WordPress.org.
