  WordPress placed a blog on the internet that was not finished. I do not know enough about WordPress to know how to take it down until I am finished with the blog. Can you please help me take it down and keep it down until I am finished with it?

  Hello!

  Open a new browser window and sign in to your dashboard. Click “Posts” on the main menu to display the Posts screen.

  Click the name of the post your want to stop publishing. WordPress displays the Edit Post screen.

  Click the “Edit” link next to the Status field in the Publish pane (on the top right side of the Edit Post Screen).

  Click the Status pull-down menu and select “Draft.”

  Click the “OK” button and then click the “Update” button to stop publishing your post.
