Book advice

My former employer has asked me if I can add a page to his website for recruitment, with any vacancies on offer and a reply form for respondents with an option for sending attachments.
I’m quite rusty with WordPress and wonder if I could ask advice for a book that would help me achieve this on a site I didn’t originate, but was done in WordPress.
I am quite good with books that teach by example. I learned my web site skills in the early 2000s from a book published by SAMS. Can’t see one on WordPress though. Also any other resources online such as video tutorials.
The site isn’t the one attached to my account that I’m posting from. That’d a blog which I know design wise is pants. I’m hoping learning the skill I’ve opened this post with will have the payback to allow me to tidy this one up too.

I am looking on Amazon but asked the question because personal recommendation is always good. The question “have you heard of a company called Amazon” is tinged with sarcasm, so your reply carried little value. Thanks anyway.
