  can i do that, when a uses come, to quickly have a small window where i ask people to bookmark the site if they want?

  This needs javascript to automate the bookmark – and that is a strict no no here.

  You could have something like this:

  To bookmark my blog, press Cntrl+D (Apple+D for Mac).

  That’s the only way I can think of.

  They can do it in their own browser, just like they can for any other page. That’s it; there is no WordPress.com function to automatically bookmark a blog page.

  All the code I’ve seen to do that have been with javascript. User inputted javascript is removed due to the security risks involved with it. Since we’re on a shared environment, allowing users to put in their own javascript would be putting all of the blogs here at risk, much like how blogger is currently.

  best bet would be to submit a feeckback and explain to staff why you would like to see this feature. They have asked us to submit ideas via that method as they keep track of what gets submitted.
