Bookmarks, Frontpage style
-
Sorry I couldn’t follow your social bookmarks instructions. I am looking to put a simple bookmark in a post and add a #bookmarkname to the end of the url. Is that possible with wordpress?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Which social bookmark instructions did you attempt to follow? I use Getsocial, and it works terrifically. And no, you can’t configure the URLs here at WordPress.com

It seems to me the OP is not talking about social bookmarks, but about “named anchors” or “Page Jumps” to use the WordPress lingo:

I googled “bookmark frontpage” and came up with something that made sense. Some people still use MS FrontPage, but I have no idea why Mickeysoft calls it “bookmark” and not “named anchor”.

It indeed looks like “Page Jumps” is identical to FrontPage’s “Bookmarks.” Go figure. I’ll give that a try.
Thanks much.
