Borders and captions in block editor (and classic)

I haven’t blogged for a while and when I tried to do so just now everything was different and I had huge difficulty aligning captions to images. There is also a border around the text. How can I solve the first problem and get rid of the borders? I tried posting in Classic format but it seemed to make no difference. Thanks in hope.

That plugin allows you to temporarily deactivate all plugins and your theme, just for you own view, without actually affecting the live site at all. You can re-enable them one at a time and see where the problems appear, then get in touch with that plugin or theme’s support.
