botched up attempts at converting an http to an https

    My site is through WordPress. I have been linking to podcasts uplinked to libsyn. I have purchased an SSf from libsyn and made a change on the dashboard at WordPress but since the site is only available as an http. I have no idea what to do next.

    Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host standoutscholars.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting.

    Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at your current provider. For example, we offer free SSL and a secure https address by default for all sites we host directly.

    You definitely have the option to move your site to us which will automatically add SSL to your site, but as it stands now, we cannot help since it is hosted elsewhere. The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance. SSL is not offered free with all providers, but I recommend contacting your current provider for further assistance to see what they offer for sites they host. They are in the best position to help.
