Both edit date and post date show
-
I schedule blog posts a few weeks in advance. When they post, however, they also show the date I edited them. How can I get rid of the edit date?

Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every time you edit a post there is a post revision created.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/When the post is published it is published with the date of the most recent revision embedded into the URL.
Note scheduled post publication is triggered the first visitor clicking into your blog after your post was scheduled. It will still state that it was posted on the time and date that you specified, but it will not actually go up until someone visits your site. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/schedule-a-post/

The dates are at the top of each blog post. I understand that the date of the post is part of the URL, but I don’t understand why it also has to show the edit date.
Thanks.

This is part of the design of the Eventbrite Multi theme. This theme was designed with event management in mind, so having the ‘updated’ date detailed makes sense when you want people to know when your event details were last updated.
The only way to remove it would be with Custom CSS, which you can use if you purchase the Custom Design upgrade from the Store tab in your dashboard. Let me know if you’d like to go ahead with that and I can help you figure out the code snippet to hide those dates! :)

That’s what I was afraid of! No thanks on the Custom CSS. I’ll try to do a work around or change my theme.
Thanks for your help!
