“Nothing found here” might go away if you wrote some posts on your new site. Or if you don’t intend posting on your site you could create pages instead and a static front page for visitors to see first.

Thanks, I checked out the video and when it says to click “Homepage settings” I can’t find that option. It’s not an available option in my side bar….

Have you published a page yet?
If you don’t have any published pages you will not have the “Homepage Settings” option outlined in the next step.

I just tried publishing a page and made it static and it looked worse. All I want is for there to be nothing but the company logo on the front page. It’s juts a holding page for now

OK, I’ve done it now but now I have a white line across the top for ‘Header Media’ – I don’t want that either. WordPress, why do you have to make it sooo difficult!
