  into customizing, colors and backgrounds are not together and I don’t have the option to change them properly

  how can I do please?

  Hi margaretriverprintmaking

  To change the color and background you can have look on documentation :

  Steps to change the background colors

  1 Click on MySites
  2 Click on Customize
  3 Click on color and background.
  4 Click on select image if you want to add image or select any color you want.
  5 click on publish.

  Some time we can see the background color or image we set while customizing it might be the same problem with you as well. For this you can open your site in another window after publishing and check it .

  If this is not the problem so can you please describe us in details so that we can exactly look into that.
