bought a domain by mistake

    Hello,

    I just bought a domain and activated it. I found a cheaper price through hostgator.com that offers the domain for free. Is it possible for you to refund me and reactivate the domain without having to wait an entire year?

    Hi there,

    I see that you cancelled your recent plan purchase (WordPress.com Personal) but have retained your domain: yaldakaveh.com

    Please note that it’s not possible to change the address of your site from yaldamkaveh.wordpress.com to yaldakaveh.com without the plan. For sites on our “free plan” you must use the provided WordPress.com address.

    If you wish you can cancel your domain for a full refund, but there is a 5 day grace period before it will be available at another registrar, but after that period you can purchase it from any company that sells domains to the public.

    Once you have your domain (again) you can re-add the Personal plan to your WordPress.com site and we will be happy to walk you through the process of assigning a custom address to the site.
