Bought a domain name at 1&1, want to transfer it to WordPress

    Hello,

    I recently purchased a domain name from 1&1 but cancelled a few days later after realising that their templates don’t quite suit my needs.

    I have been given an authorisation code by 1&1 which I am told I need. Please can someone tell me what I need to do next in order to transfer the domain name to WordPress? Is there a cost involved? (is this the same as mapping, which does seem to come at a cost?)
