Bought a theme: want to use it first on my trial site

    For the benefit of the totally unhelpful others posting to my query when last I put it, I can tell you that, far from being impossible, I AM ABLE TO DO PRECISELY WHAT I ASKED ABOUT – and without any problem whatsoever. It just took a lot of fiddling about until I came across the solution for myself.
    Allow me to enlighten you, so that you will not put any other innocent blogger through your self-satisfied hoops:

    • One goes to one’s dashboard<li/>
    • Within one’s dashboard one goes to Store My Upgrades
    • There one finds whatever theme it is that one currently has available to the site one purchased it through
    • Underneath the name of the specific theme, one finds the phrase, which is a clickable phrase, ‘Transfer to another site’ (amazing, eh ?)

    And thus one does it. Voilà – exactly what I sought to do !
    Alas for the people who think they know it all, and that such knowledge allows them to be rude.

    We did know it all. Then staff changed something. One thing we know is: your threads are always entertaining. At least, everyone on Twitter thinks so.
