Bought custom design and it's not working.
-
Hi, I bought custom design last week and successfully changed my blog’s appearance. Today I wanted to change the font size again but nothing I do will change it. I’ve tried to change other things and nothing will change. Its seems that I cant use customise at all.
A few days ago my husband cleared all cookies and cleaned my computer – could that have anything to do with it?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello! Are you able to change your font on the Customizer, but unable to Save the changes?
If possible, send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. I’d like to see your Custom Design screen, with the font changes, if possible. And another shot of the same page AFTER you save your changes. Please feel free to send any other images that you think will demonstrate the problem for me. You can upload the screenshots to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there. Just let me know when there’s something I should look at.
The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:
Thanks much. Looking forward to getting to the bottom of this!

Hi , sorry it’s taken so long to get back to you – my exams are killing me! It turns out that when I change the font and design options, I cannot see it on my computer, but I can see the changes on other computers and my ipad. Hence, the problem must be with my computer.

Sorry, ive just double checked. The changes show on mu ipad but not on my two PCs. This is a little bizarre!

AH. Well, I’m glad your site isn’t broken :) but sorry you’re having that trouble with the computer.
Here are my suggestions:
- Clear Firefox’s cache and cookies, using the directions below:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cacheThen refresh your browser window, and see if the fonts appear correctly to you now.
- Check your site on another browser, like Google Chrome.
Let me know how that works for you. If you’re not finding a solution, please do send me those screenshots so I can see what you’re seeing. Directions below:
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

I’ve just seen your second response. Please do still try my suggestions, and get back to me, so we can solve this issue for you!

Thanks for replying. I checked and it seems I cant see the changes on Firefox, but it works fine on Internet Explorer and Safari. So, I’ve uploaded screen shots of the blog on Firefox and on Internet Explorer so you can see the difference.
Thanks, I hope you can solve it!

Hi there — sounds like a settings issue with your local Firefox browser. Try this:
While in your browser, click Firefox > Preferences > Content > Fonts & Colors > Advanced
Choose “Allow pages to choose their own fonts” and click OK.
Let me know how that works for you! Thank you!

No still not working. The problem is not just with my firefox browser. It doesnt work with Firefox on my husband’s computer as well. It’s a mystery!

Hello again! It is a mystery!
I am seeing your site appear the same way on PC and Mac in Firefox, IE (for PC), and Firefox, Safari, and Chrome for Mac.
I’ve attached lots of screenshots below to show you what I’m seeing on the most updated browsers on Mac/PC:
PC Firefox:

https://cloudup.com/cS5R47dwy1OMac Chrome/Firefox/Safari:
https://cloudup.com/iRr_Wh7YE0tAre you working on the most updated version of your operating system, and browser? Let me know. Thanks very much!

As far as I can see my browser and operating system are up to date. At least other people can see it how I want it!
Do you have any other suggestions?
Thanks
-
That’s true — at least your visitors will be able to see your site correctly! However, it would be preferable that you can see it as well!
Are you and your husband running any browser extensions, add-ons, or plugins? If you’re not sure, take a look at this support document from Firefox:
Extensions Support
Add-ons Support
Plugins Support
If you find that you are running there, could you try deactivating them all temporarily, and take a look at your website again?
Let me know the results of this test! Thanks so much!

Hi,
That seems to have worked. My husband disabled an add-on that he was using. Thanks for all your help.
